A guide to tuning the harmonium, a popular Victorian instrument rather smaller than the pianoforte, and requiring less maintenance. At the end are three pages of specifications for an "improved patent harmonium" manufactured in Paris by Alexandre & Co., and available for sale by Chappell, in New Bond Street. At the front are nine figures on six plates, with a fly-title reading, "Illustrations of the harmonium and its action." In fine condition, and rare. Not listed in the NUC or OCLC; COPAC records two copies (L, Gu).
