One of several pamphlets privately printed by Benson at Eton, where he was a brilliantly successful schoolmaster for almost twenty years. This one is a poetical soliloquy by Thomas Gray, in his rooms in the Hitcham Building of Pembroke College, Cambridge, delivered in the year 1771.
