Diverse subject matter (some antiquarian rather than purely archaeological in the modern sense) includes history and antiquities of Shropshire, Maes-Howe inscriptions, ancient camps and earthworks in Cornwall, the House of Gourney, Cromlechs in Pembrokeshire and the Roman Villa at Nennig, Prussia.
