One of 190 numbered copies on "Papier d'Arches". Contrary to the imprint, this copy has the full-page etchings in two states bound in, one with remarques, also a suite of all etchings and vignettes on Japan, without text, partly with remarques. Also bound in is an subscribers-prospectus. Generously elaborated, each page surrounded by an ornamental border in gold. Important excample of french book art, bound in an masterly binding, signed H.
