One of 40 copies on stone-hued sheets handmade at La Papeterie Saint- Armand, each copy with an original copperplate recessed into the cover. Page size: 15 x 13 inches. Bound by Michael Kuch and Senta Burton. Each page on copper wire, the wire loosely sewn with twine so that each page opens completely flat. Housed in custom-made clamshell box. Illustrated by the author / artist with 40 images that are soft-ground etchings made by squashing found forms whose groupings comprise the eight chapters. Each of the eight chapters is headed by a poem followed by five intaglios which explore the inner landscape of memory, thought and dream. The intaglios were printed by Michael Kuch and Art Larsen. The letterpress was by Larson in 14 point Bell, cast by Michael Bixler.
