One of 50 copies, all on velin d'Arches paper, each with a full-page original aquatint by Martha Ripoll, signed and numbered by her in pencil on the print. The text was composed and printed by Eduardo Audivert in 14pt. Bodoni in red. Page size: 12-3/4 inches x 10 inches, 16pp. Bound: loose in original gray wrappers printed in red with author, title, artist, publisher and date, fine. Xul Solar was the adopted name of Oscar Schulz Solari (1887-1963) Argentian painter, sculptor, writer and inventor of imaginary languages was closely associated with Jorge Luis Borges. His concerns and aesthetic impulses were always with the avant garde: his art and writings reflect a concern with games, language linking numbers and visual arts, expressionist poetry and Eastern philosophy.
