In original cloth bindings, comprising the following: A Christmas Carol, Gimbel's second state, Calhoun & Heaney's first issue fourth state, Todd's first impression, first issue with cream endpapers and reading "STAVE ONE." Contemporary gift inscription on front pastedown, bookplate, spine cocked, with a small chip at the top of the spine, overall a very good copy. The Chimes, first Edition, bookplate, a very good, fairly bright and clean copy. The Battle of Life, first Edition, fourth state of the vignette title page, rebacked with the original cloth laid down, some cloth spotting, very good. The Haunted Man and The Ghost's Bargain, first edition, bookplate, some cloth fraying, very good. All five volumes enclosed in a quarter leather slipcase (a bit worn).
