Bound: original green wrappers, white label printed in orange with litho by Masson 4-3/8 x 3-3/4 inches, title in black, spine and edges sunned to gray, yap edges with closed tears, edges of text a bit browned, most pages unopened, generally a very good copy of this hommage to Andre Masson. The text is by Breton, Desnos, Eluard and Barrault, among others. With a bibliography of books illustrated by Masson on pp. 121 122 and a biography by Michel Leiris on pp. 7-17; this is an important reference on the surreal book.
