One of 10 on Arches with an extra suite on Japon from a total issue of 41, each copy signed by the author, Isadore Isou, and the artist, Albert Dupont, in addition each plate by Dupont is signed in pencil. The publisher's wrappers are an original engraving. Page size: 4-1/2 inches x 6-1/8 inches. Bound by JEAN DE GONET: original binding in black revorim with silver and copper colored stamping, author in red and silver letters on front panel, title in red on spine, abstract design on front cover suggesting lyre or guitar with strings in silver and body in copper, design repeated on back in blind stamping, endpapers in black and silver gilt, original wrappers bound in, matching slipcase and chemise. Dupont's etchings were pulled by hand at Atelier Dupont-Visat presses; the text was pulled by Atelier Merat. A semiotic experiment, neither the text nor the "hieroglyphic" etchings have any meaning other than the object itself.
