The very scarce second edition; it is a reprint, probably unauthorised, of the Elzevier 1627 edition, including the preface which was replaced in following Elzevier editions. This copy has 'Geneva' stamped by hand above the priner's name and date. This guide to political wisdom and prudent, lawful, behaviour was later published under the title Arcana Politica.
