Only edition of these discourses; the first discusses il teatro comico del secolo decimosesto, the second del decimosettimo and the last is Il teatro comico nostro secolo, e la sua restaurazione opera del Goldoni. Goldoni had died in the previous year and the final ragionamento discusses his plays and their place on the national and international scene.
