Venice, Stamperia Albrizziana, 1782 Large 8vo: engraved frontispiece by Felippo Ricci, large allegorical engraving of Venice on title-page, 4 large copperplate head- and tail-pieces. Mottled wrappers. First edition of this cantata in two parts written for five voices and chorus; towards the end of the first part was inserted 'Breve sinfonia d'allegrezza'. The piece was written for a visit to Venice by Pope Pius VI and performed in the Oratorio degli Incurabili. The composer was Galuppi. Untraced in NUC; Melzi II, p.469.
