First edition of the first guide to the paintings to be seen in Piacenza. The author has put biographical and critical notes as footnotes to the main text which gives the contents of each church. Asterisks mark the pictures most worthy of being seen by art-loving foreign visitors and there are indexes of buildings and artists.
