[Bound with:] [NICOLE, Pierre]. Seconde edition. [n.p.: n.d]. Quarto. 47 pp. This is a curious work. It is undated, and there is no indication of publisher or place, but it is labeled Òsecond edition.Ó The first edition must have been published before 1666, when an English edition translated by John Evelyn appeared. The only edition listed by OCLC is dated 1687 and was published in Lille; that edition is held only by Duke University and the University of Wales. This work is sometimes attributed to Antoine Arnauld and Pierre Nicole. [and:] [WEIDNER, Johann Leonhard].
