Boards lightly soiled, with some staining. Generally a very good copy., Auger (1734-1793) was a classical scholar of great repute. He produced editions of Demosthenes, Aeschines, Isocrates, Cicero. He was professor of rhetoric at the Coll¸ge Royal de Rouen from 1762 to 1776. He was a member of lÕAcadˇmie des Inscriptions., This is a scarce book.
