Very rare broadside celebrating the 75th birthday of Hans (Johann) Carl, showing the architect/engineer surrounded by a number of his accomplishments: Trinity Church in Regensberg—one of the first protestant churches in Bavaria, which Carl had designed; a proportional compass of his own invention; and a model canon from the series of miniature armaments he designed for the Nuremberg city armory. Of interest as a sign of the increased professional status enjoyed by architects in Northern Europe.
