In the first years of the 19th century, Firmin Didot (1764-1836), a leading member of the great family of printers, purchased the famous and beautiful library of J.A. Naigeon, which was very rich in 15th-century books. In the present catalogue, Didot sold at auction the resulting duplicates and books not of interest to him. 1235 lots.
