Paris: Thiboust, 1751. The uncommon auction catalogue of the library of Joseph Antoine Crozat, Marquis de Tugny (1696-1750). Crozat was the best known member of a family who were prominent French financiers and art collectors. He formed one of the most precious collections of paintings, statues, drawings, and prints of the time. His library contained an equally rich assemblage of books relating to the fine arts.
