An account of the voyage of Tristan da Cunha, sent out from Portugal in 1506 to relieve the siege of the Portuguese settlement at Cannanore on the southwest coast of India. Da Cunha's fleet remained on the west coast, and in 1507 joined with Almeida to renew Portuguese attacks on Calicut.

This narrative, adapted from the original version by the Portuguese chronicler Barros, was produced by the Dutch anthologist and publisher Pieter van der Aa in his series Naaukeurige versameling der gedenk-waardigste zee en land-reysen na Oost en West-Indiën.
