The Spanish Academy, recently founded in 1714 and modelled on the French Academy, celebrates the birth of the Infanta Mariana Victoria, eldest child of Philip V and Queen Isabel Farnese. She was bethrothed to the infant Louis XV of France but later married D. José I of Portugal. Palau 1431.
