A late, but rare, edition of Caesarius' Dialectica, a schoolbook based largely on the precepts of Cicero. The author (1460-1551), a German, studied in Paris and taught in Cologne until his lutheranism caused him to be expelled from that city. He later recanted and died in Cologne in 1551. Apart from this book he also edited Pliny and Celsus and corrected Bertutius' Traité de médicine pratique.
