BONAMORE, Bonamor. In obitu sereniss. principis Venetiarum, Sebastiani Venerii...oratio. [Venice, Domenico Farri, 1578].
4to. 8ff. (including the final blank). Woodcut device on title-page, typographical headpiece at the top of the recto of the first three leaves, in nineteenth century wrappers.
A scarce little oration lamenting the death of the doge Sebastiano Veniero (reigned 1576-1578) who died, as legend has it, of grief caused by the almost total destruction by fire of the ducal palace. He had earlier achieved great renown for his exploits at the Battle of Lepanto. This appears to be Bonamore's only publication.
Censimento B2975; not in Adams; NUC locates only the copy at Harvard (either wrongly attributed to Padua or another edition).
