Fourth edition in Italian of Bruni's popular history of the wars between the Romans and the Goths, first written in 1442 and first printed, in Latin, in 1470. This Italian edition by Lodovico Petroni was first composed in 1456 and dedicated by him to Galeazzo Sforza, the son of Francesco. It first appeared in print in 1526.
