Hance, who after he left the Army, continued to spend his time solely to the subject of horses and riding. He developed the theories on the training of riders and their mounts, they are the result of his many years' practical experience. The simple way of his teaching system has been put together with his simple language he used. Nearly half of this beautiful lot shows us the relations with the publisher he works with (Mr. Martin Phillips) where he indicates how to work out his books as well as where to put the pictures and the plates.
