Provenance: The copy bears the stamps of pianist and violinist Hubert-Ferdinand Kufferath (1818 - 1896); he became in 1839 Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's pupil and moved in 1844 to Brussels. There he established himself as teacher of piano and composition., later he got a chair at the conservatory. He was of overriding importance for the music world at Brussels: J. Joachim, Clara Schumann and others visited his house regularly. Title and p. 3 with Kufferath's stamps. Throughout slightly browned (title and last leaf more intensively) and damp-stained, upper margins water-marked.
