Title in large architectural border with fine groteseque and allegorical boaders, dedication from Giulio Paschali to the king, schematic tables and beautiful impressions, 60 magnificent engravings full page with descriptions and frontispiece and fine initial work, designs by the architect Androuet du Cerceau, tables showing the important designs of the machinaery and inventions for practical use (comprised of many types of machines for many purposes).. Folio, leather, fine border work, metal clasps. 64, signed, A-Q4 A beautiful copy, very large with wide margins and borders.

The book is the most famous and rare French work on technology and mechancis printed in the XVIth century.
