The present work only covers the first six books plus the 11th and 12th books of Euclid and was translated from the Italian by John Keill. This is the 2nd octavo printing of the Commandino text following the translation in 1701 by Keill of the first 6, 11th and 12th books of Euclid. The second work by Keill deals with plane and spherical trigonometry and a brief tract on logarithms. This is the second issue of the mathematical tracts by first Keill. The first was in 1715.(Riccardi)
